I Am In A Magazine This Month.

Unlike every other month, when Steve sticks something I wrote into his magazine, this time I didn't have to sleep with someone to get into actual print.

Meredith O'Brien, who has a blog here at the Boston Herald, interviewed me about last December's unpleasant incident with me, the principal at Alex's school, and the unwilling, coffee-drinking cop. It went into this month's issue of Parents & Kids, which I think is an insert in the Boston Herald, but I don't exactly know for sure. Anyway, an online copy of the article is here.

Thanks, Meredith!

Also, as a weekend treat for the lesbians in the crowd, here's an MP3 of lesbian writer/actor Faith Soloway singing her runaway smash hit "Lesbian Hairstyles." I got this link from her sister Jill Soloway's blog. Jill Soloway, you may or may not remember, was most unfairly stomped in this very blog by Chairman Mao Tse-Tung, when their lives went mano a mano in the Biographical Book Smackdown in January. I even called her a bitch, testing her resolve that she loves to read about herself, even bad things people write, such as calling her a bitch. To be honest, I have seen no evidence to support that Jill Soloway is, in fact, a bitch, and when compared with Mao, she seems quite sweet. But then again, compared to Mao, Ezra Pound seems sweet, too, so perhaps that's not fair.

Again with the digression. As I was saying: Faith Soloway - funny - special MP3 for the lesbian ladies in the house - took me a longish time to download - maybe that's because my computer stinks.

Have a good weekend!
